I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist with experience providing individual and group therapy in both mental health and substance abuse agencies. I also have experience working in hospital, college counseling, and private practice settings. My practice specialties include working with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, self-esteem, relationship concerns, and those individuals dealing with adjustment to major life changes such as divorce, relocation, and transitioning to college.
I enjoy working with my clients to identify and promote utilization of healthy coping skills and positive thought patterns which can help with goals of improving self-confidence and self-concept. My role as a therapist is to provide a non-judgmental, safe environment for people to explore their life issues and support them in their personal growth.
I also promote the idea of self-care in individual’s lives, and incorporate this into my own life through spending time with friends, family and with my two dogs.
