


Having worked as a therapist for many years, I am able to guide individual clients and therapeutic groups to achieve a balance between acceptance of their emotions and life circumstances and creating meaningful change through active work. My approach is non-judgmental, providing insight regarding complex behaviors as they connect to past experiences. With my extensive experience and training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I am in a unique position to provide understanding and empathy to a wide range of people, from students dealing with emotional ups and downs to those who have struggled to feel accepted or validated from an early age. I teach skills such as emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness and mindfulness to help people navigate their way out of chaos or confusion
My other areas of expertise include anger management therapy, treatment for depression and bipolar disorder, recovery from trauma or abuse, and simply helping my clients understand their feelings and behaviors more fully to gain self-awareness and a vision for future goals.
